You will recall that at our meeting on Monday last it was decided that we should try and arrange a further meeting with the Secretary of State to discuss the problem of establishing an Endowment Fund for the Hong Kong University. Mr. Griffiths suggests that the meeting should take place in his room at 10.a.m. on Friday, 27th July. I hope this will be convenient for you and I should be grateful if you could let me know as soon as possible whether you will be able to come.
I am also writing to Mr. Sloss as you will remember that it was suggested that he should attend to represent the University.
